This product is a combination of black truffle essence and extra virgin olive oil, which in its bottle includes a slice of this precious fungus that harmonizes its flavor. The result is an oil capable of delivering a generous but balanced aroma and taste of this true diamond of haute cuisine, because it surprises even the most demanding palates with its intensity.
How and when to use it?
Black truffle oil can be used in hot or cold dishes.
In both cases we recommend applying it in doses, preferably with the dropper that comes with the bottle, because thanks to the strength of its aroma, you only need one touch on the finished preparation, so as not to cook the oil. For example: on a risotto just before serving; when finishing a white or other sauce; on freshly boiled pasta; on a topinambur cream or simply dressing a mashed potato.
Dare to combine it with white meats such as turkey, chicken and quail, and with fish such as salmon or sea bass. You can pair it with a wide range of vegetables such as potatoes, spinach, peas, green asparagus, potato celery, white mushrooms, Paris mushrooms and all kinds of dough.
In starters or lighter preparations, our oil is perfect to enhance the flavor of salads and carpaccios. Add it to scrambled eggs just before serving and to a crudo as well. Even on a simple toast, it allows you to create a different appetizer in just a few minutes.
A light application -a twist- gives you the flavor of the black truffle, at a reasonable price and with the advantage of an assured conservation for several weeks, which is not achieved with fresh truffles that must be consumed within days.
Chilean roots
The black truffle in our oil comes from the Chilean mountainous lands of the Biobío Region where it grows naturally in the roots of oak and hazelnut trees.
We also use the highest quality Chilean olive oil, which allows the truffle to display its distinctive combination of aromas that transforms the simplest dishes into a feast of flavors that your most gourmet guests will appreciate.
